A Prophetic Revelation: Restoring the Rains to Israel
This prophetic experience marked a turning point, revealing a direct connection between the way blessings are pronounced and Israel’s drought. When the rains returned after the launch of the Melech HaOlam project, it was undeniable—this was real, and my mission in the world had been set.
In late 2010, after my first trip to Israel, I returned to New York with a strong emphasis on precision in blessings, particularly the phrase "Melech HaOlam" (מלך העולם). I had spoken about this publicly, urging people to *clearly separate the final letter "ך" in "Melech" (King) from the "ה" in "HaOlam" (of the Universe). My message resonated, drawing interest from communities like the Carlebach Shul.
Then, two weeks later, as I sat parked on West End Avenue in Manhattan, a revelation struck me—a prophetic insight that the way this blessing was being pronounced was spiritually linked to Israel’s decades-long drought. I immediately called my friend Zvi and asked him to help me analyze the gematria (numerical values) of key words.
🔹 "Melech" (מלך) – “King” → 90
🔹 "HaOlam" (העולם) – “of the Universe” → 151
However, I noticed something unusual—the letter "ה" in "HaOlam" (העולם) looked closed, resembling a "ח" (Chet). This was not just a visual difference; it represented a pronunciation mistake that could block the spiritual flow of blessings and rain.
The letter "ח" (Chet) has a gematria of 8, whereas "ה" (Hei) is 5.
To account for this mistaken pronunciation, I adjusted the value of "HaOlam" (151 → 154).
The final letter "ך" in "Melech" (מלך) has a gematria of 20.
Adding this to the mispronounced "ח" (8), I got:
🔹 20 + 8 = 28
Now, I combined the corrected HaOlam (154) with this adjusted 28:
🔹 154 + 28 = 182
Finally, adding Melech (90) back into the equation:
🔹 182 + 90 = 272
At this moment, I asked Zvi if there was a Hebrew word with a gematria of 272. His response stunned me:
🔹 "Ra’av" (רעב) – “Famine”
This confirmed my insight—the mispronunciation was spiritually linked to Israel’s drought.
At that moment, another word came to me:
🔹 "Eloheinu" (אלהינו) – “Our G-d” → 102
Then, I calculated the total gematria of the properly pronounced blessing:
🔹 "Eloheinu Melech HaOlam" (אלהינו מלך העולם) → 343
To my amazement, 343 is the exact gematria of "Geshem" (גשם) – “Rain”.
The message was clear—correcting this blessing could restore rain to Israel.
In 2011, I made Aliyah to Israel and printed 100,000 flyers explaining the connection between precise blessings and the gematria of rain. These flyers were distributed throughout Israel and Orthodox communities worldwide.
The results were immediate and miraculous.
🔹 As soon as the flyers circulated, the rains began to fall.
🔹 The rainfall persisted, and the Kinneret rose to its highest level in 30 years.
This experience proved that even the smallest correction, made with intention, can unlock profound change. It was a powerful reminder of the connection between faith, action, and divine intervention—and of the importance of listening to the messages HaShem sends us, both subtle and extraordinary.
